Law Enforcement: Cops are not friendly around here. They will mess with you if you give them the chance. Luckly, they're not too bright, so it can be avoided if you don't tell anyone your last name. There are two police stations in durham. One is the local town and the other is UNH's own. Both have full enforcement power.
Although the cops here aren't too bothered about possession (you get an on-the-spot warning & they nick your stash, bastards. If you've got a lot of previous warnings for possession, or they think you might be dealing then it can get more serious), if the cops think you've been smoking weed before driving you'll be in a lot of trouble. Might be worth catching the tube instead.

More information: It's hardest to find bud here when students leave the campus. Mostly around winter break and summer. It gets horrible at the end of summer as it does most places in New England.

So asides from the police, this place rocks for smoking. Visit college woods for a hike, it's one of the few places the police will never go, cause they cant fit outside their car doors.
